Lawyer, family mediator and co-parenting coach, V\u00e9ronique Cyr holds a Licenciate in Law (LLL) (2005) and a Juris Doctor (JD) in Common Law (2006) from the University of Ottawa. She joined the firm in 2016 after practicing for more than seven years in private practice in civil litigation and family law.<\/p>\n
A strong advocate of dispute prevention and alternate resolution methods, she relies on the transmission of information and the empowerment of spouses\/partners and parents so that they can always remain in command of their own case. She represents her clients with heart and conviction before the various courts while ensuring, at every opportunity, that amicable settlement discussions are initiated.<\/p>\n
Me Cyr has acquired extensive expertise in matters of unjust enrichment, undivided sharing of co-owned properties by de facto spouses and family mediation, including as counsel in external mediations. She represents the interests of her clients in the context of family difficulties before the Court of Quebec, the Superior Court of Quebec and the Court of Appeal of Quebec, in addition to participating in amicable settlement conferences.<\/p>\n
An eternal optimist, V\u00e9ronique also likes to share a delicious pizza with her beloved man and her kids while pampering her cat Vino over a little glass of wine.<\/p>\n
