Rita Daou

A lawyer and family mediator, Rita Daou began her undergraduate studies in International Development, with a focus on Globalization, in 2009, and has since graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Licentiate of Civil Law (LLL) degree in 2014. She joined the firm in 2020 after practicing for more than four years in private practice and on her own in family law and in Canadian immigration law.

Fostering a modernized and humane approach to law, she relies on personalized legal support to her clients, be it through coaching, mediation or negotiation before thinking about the litigation of any dispute.

Over the years, Me Daou has developed a significant expertise in matters of parental relocation and immigration in the context of a separation. She draws on this vast know-how when representing the interests of her clients before all judicial bodies or settlement conferences.

Our lovely, multi-lingual Rita speaks French, English and Arabic, and she’s also a fitness maniac in her free time. Otherwise, in the evening, chances are that you will find this talented foodie cooking herself a delicious dish with a (very large) glass of wine in her hand.
